The Real Sound is a return to the roots of POWERSOLO. But this time they dig even deeper than ever and deliver a string of catchy tunes with crazy lyrical hooks that could have been one hit wonder 7”’s back in the 50’s, 60’s or even the 70’s. They are the type of songs that would be found on the Las Vegas Grind and Nuggets compilations. It’s music you can dance to, prance to, rock and roll (in the biblical sense) to, and get into some serious trouble to. Celebrating the time when music had a sense of fun, sex and danger to it. This is the real sound of rock’n’roll. The real sound of POWERSOLO.

Forest Pooky
Déjà 15 ans que Forest Pooky chante, écrit et se produit sur scène. Biberonné au punk rock dès son plus jeunes âge, il est aujourd’hui constamment sur la route, son implication dans la scène musicale ayant grandi de manière exponentielle.
Qualifié à l’occasion de Clochard Céleste, jouant à peu près partout où il est possible de poser une paire de converse, il a déjà partagé la scène avec Evan Dando (The Lemonheads), Frank Turner, Joey Cape (Lagwagon), Kepi Ghoulie (Groovie Ghoulies), Peter ‘Blackie’ Black (The Hard Ons) …
En 2017 sortira un nouvel EP de son projet solo, « We’re Just Killing Time Before We Die », avec un message très terre à terre et paradoxalement positif : Si nous ne faisons que tuer le temps avant de partir, alors autant faire en sorte que ce soit excitant
